    Then it is easy to see that \(S_n = S_{n-1} \cup \halmaz{n}\text{,}\) that is, \(S_n\) is the disjoint union of \(S_{n-1}\) and \(\halmaz{n}\text{.}\) Then by the definition of the factorial, we have
